Susan Ullrich – Litigation Consultant in Dallas, Texas

Susan happily stumbled into qualitative research after graduate school, finding a passion for ways to find out the ‘how’ and ‘why’ for work across federal, state, and private entities. She continued her work in consulting, becoming an expert in qualitative inquiry, facilitating thousands of in-depth interviews (including cognitive testing, usability testing, and message testing), focus groups, workshops, asynchronous modalities, and mixed-methods approaches over the years.  She has conducted rigorous and pivotal studies for the Departments of Health and Human Services, Defense, Education, State, Housing and Urban Development, and the Social Security Administration, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Elections Assistance Commission, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, among others. Throughout her years in federal consulting, Susan carved out a niche for research around health, access to healthcare and human services, and equitable and inclusive research design, across a variety of topics and target populations.

Susan comes to Litigation Laboratory with a wealth of expertise in designing and executing focus groups/mock trials, surfacing actionable insights, and generating polished and digestible reports. Her enthusiasm for equity, inclusion, and access extends easily into aiding in the representation of injured parties involved in truck/vehicle wreck litigation.
